It’s a great idea, and I found that using the fusible batting produced a bulky edge that made it hard to finish with clean edge stitching. If I choose to make more, I will divide the batting into three pieces that are cut right along the fold line. I think then, without the bulk on the edge, the stitching will look much neater.
